This website is a perpetual work in progress.
I don’t mean in the cutesy, I’m-Always-Adding-New-Stuff kind of work in progress way. I mean in the literal, not-finished-at-all-and-questionably-functional kind of way. There’s likely a gallery half-finished with no image captions, or the sitemap is missing pages, or the fonts don’t always match, or there’s a broken link, or maybe I’m missing a few dozen prints in the shop and only have one original painting available. (I am missing a bunch, and having one is doing well. They take forever.)
This is due in large part to my being the artist AND the webmaster AND a mother AND a spouse AND helping run a farm AND another business AND needing to sleep once in a while. You could call it’s unfinishedness less professional, but I prefer to go with authentic, because let’s face it, living life and cannon-balling into it’s glorious, gorgeous chaos is WAY more satisfying than trying to make it look like everything is flawless for people we barely know.
We all know life’s not flawless, and that’s what makes living it fascinating.
