Madness
the individual experience
of this consciousness;
each one
shifted just a hair
from the one before, but
collectively and
from a distance
we can discern a general image,
like looking through
scattered transparencies stacked,
no match
no exact fit
no perfect alignment –
just close enough,
just enough to feel
like we miss the bottom step
once in a while.
We must not lose that madness
of shifted just a little off;
we must hold on to the
destabilization of that
that chaos spark from
our almost imperceptibly asynchronous reality;
that shifting that reveals
through the gaps in the pitch black printer ink
allows through
the glitches of the softly blurred edges
that wild glittering
in the depths of the abyss
of those things
that call to our soul,
the stars
that light our way
that illuminate the madness
and make it ours.
