I keep trying to find good words for how much this article and her words mean.

I usually see myself as some unfocused workshop chaos-gremlin-hermit, an Artificer of Chaos in the most archetypical way possible, but she paints me in a way that keeps bringing me to tears: with a breathtaking level of generosity of praise and spirit, and in a light that highlights how all my skills and interests play into and support each other, instead of being distractions from more valid work. Caroline describes me with an unexpected admiration for all of the different things I do, instead of what the world usually says, which is just pick one and focus on it.

Maybe it’s just the dramatic artist in me, but I figure I’ll stop crying whenever I think about it eventually. Maybe.
