Photos from August 1st, 2020. More flowers, aloe vera blooms, a fly on fern, bugs, some chickens, reflections in the goldfish pond, and grass-like plants that probably need mowing and trimming, but are growing like wild for now. Still getting a feel for what the new macro lens can do – and still loving it.
Shot with my Nikon D3100 with a Tamron 90mm 1:2.8 MACRO 1:1 [727E] lens.
It's not straight out of the camera but it's pretty close. Edge of hibiscus petals.
Same hibiscus in the prior photos, just stepped back a bit more.
A sticker burr.
Cluck Norris. Yes, that's really his name. Brahma rooster.
Cluck Norris and one of our Black Australorp hens.
I don't know for sure if this is sensitive plant, moringa, or something else. I like the leaves.
I'm most definitely not a fan of these bugs, but it was a fun shot to try and get. They were hiding on the back of a red hibiscus.
The reflection of grass in the goldfish pond.
Grass seeds maturing.
More Lady of Shalott roses.
Grass seeds. Look at that detail and soft background. I love this lens.
