The Mistral is a lovely, weighty pen, well suited to smaller hands and anyone who prefers a shorter pen with narrow grip. The hardware is made by Beaufort Ink, a small family company out of the UK. The consistent quality and classic elegance has made the Mistral kit one of the few fountain pen kits I still enjoy turning, years later.
