Metal: Aluminum cap and section threads, and aluminum nib threads inside the section for long-wearing use.

I’ll open with the obligatory: Every single Bebe pen is one of a kind and entirely hand-crafted, including the metal components. All of the resin material used is cast in-house. The bodies are cut, prepared, and shaped by hand on my trusty wood lathe, and the custom-designed metal components are machined and threaded about five feet away from there on my tiny metal lathe. Each pen is then carefully assembled and meticulously hand-polished in three different stages.
Sure, that seems like a lot of work for a pen, but I take my work seriously because I believe we all deserve to have our passions and joys treated with that kind of respect and consideration. These are so beautiful for everyday wear & superb quality! They are lightweight & sturdy, do not bend out of shape easily. The perfect size, not too big or small and I love the thickness. And the silicone backings are great. They stabilize without squeezing or being too heavy.
I love this set!!! It's so nice to have a seam ripper that I can hide the away the sharp parts, while my kids can get the caps off the commercial ones, they can't get them out of the handle on these. The resin is gorgeous - I love having beautiful tools to work with!

I bought this as a gift for my partner and she loves it. The labradorite is like goth opal- greenish-grey with a beautiful sheen- and the CZ adds a brilliant sparkle. The silver work on the setting is top-notch and the chain is fine and intricate. Love it.
